I have been representing families and small businesses in estate, probate, special needs and  disability planning, long term care planning and Veterans benefits matters for 24 years. I grew up in Georgia, received my undergraduate degree and my MBA from Georgia State University and my law degree from Emory University. I am admitted to practice in Georgia, Texas and D.C., as well as the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, the United States Tax Court and the 5th, 11th and D.C. Federal Courts of Appeal. Over the years clients have told me that I am very approachable, easy to work with, flexible, and a good listener.  It is critical that an attorney and client develop an open, honest, and forthright relationship so that they can work together to accomplish the client’s objectives.  To help prospective clients get to know me before they decide who they will trust to guide them through their long term planning, I provide them with a free consultation.

Whenever possible  I charge a flat fee for each service as opposed to an hourly rate.  I want clients to know from the outset how much they will spend.  In addition, I have found that a flat fee rate arrangement encourages clients to spend the time necessary to accomplish their planning objectives. It also gives me the latitude I need to best serve my clients.

For my housebound or less mobile clients, I offer the additional service of visiting with you in the comfort of your home or community.

Please contact me to receive a more detailed informational brochure on any of the practice areas listed on the website.
